Overlay Ads
Overlay ads have become extremely popular in the last few years especially in digital media. This can easily be seen across the web, especially with the explosion of YouTube. Just go search for one of your favorite videos. Many times you will see overlay logos, images, and other sorts of ads popping up during your video.
Overlay Ads
Image Placement - This is the actual process of inserting a graphic object into a media stream such as a television program or other video. Images may be static or they may be animated (as seen by flash ads).
Logo Insertion - Putting an image that is associated with a company, product, or service is known as "logo insertion". Advertisers may pay for the time logos appear on programs or other media.
Scrolling Text - Is probably the oldest form of overlay ads. This can be seen on television stations and other videos. It is exactly as it sounds, text scrolling across the screen.
Transparent Overlay - This type ad is probably the most appealing. It appears on top of another media display where the overlay image allows some of the underlying image to be seen through.
